Do you have a damaged or decayed tooth? With an on-staff dental restoration specialist in our lab we can create a replacement tooth or other restoration while you wait, meaning we can restore your teeth in as short as one visit. We use CEREC computer enabled technology to create restorations that are attractive and that fit your mouth almost perfectly.
Do you have a cavity? You will need a filling to restore your tooth and protect it from further damage from decay. We provide long-lasting amalgam fillings to repair cavities in molars and tooth-coloured fillings to repair cavities in areas that will be visible to other people.
We use our CEREC system to produce a Crown in a Day. When you need a crown to replace a broken or lost tooth, we can assess your mouth, prepare your tooth for the crown, produce, and place the crown in one appointment, letting you leave our office with an attractive, long-lasting replacement tooth.
When a tooth is badly damaged from decay it might need additional structure support to restore it to normal. In such cases we will use a restoration called an inlay. An inlay looks like a filling, but unlike a filling, which is placed in your tooth and shaped, an inlay is specially designed in a lab to be placed into your tooth. This allows us to make the inlay strong enough to provide structural support to your tooth.
An onlay is very similar to an inlay and it is produced the same way. Onlays are used in situations when the tooth’s bite needs to be restored, allowing you to bite and chew food as normal.
Along with crowns and dentures bridges are a common restoration used to replace lost teeth. A bridge consists of a replacement tooth, or multiple replacement teeth in cases where you are missing adjacent teeth, mounted to a structure that forms a “bridge” over the gap left by the missing tooth. The ends of the bridge are affixed to the teeth on either side of the gap. Bridges are strong enough to withstand normal chewing and biting and are designed and shaded to look just like your natural teeth.
